[Tutorial] Exporting The Sims 3 hairs

I promised, I did it! It took me a long while to write this tutorial, so I prefer to put it here as a separate file. In this tutorial I share my knowledge on how to get hair meshes and textures from The Sims 3 packages. The hair model for tutorial is Faye Hairstyle by Cazy (http://www.thesimsresource.com/artists/Cazy/downloads/details/category/sims3-sets-hair/title/faye-hairstyle--set/id/1221365/).

Good news! I've converted 3 new hairs to wigs! They are:

Cazy 11 (the one you can find in ziitch's Cazy hairpack)

Was a little bit tired of making girl races XD Besides, tried to draw face hairs (whooo) directly on a model, sculpt it in sculptris and bake the normals I got. Puf!

Today I'd like to say (finally) that I'm going to leave modding for a while. I would't say that it would be a short while. Dunno really if the news are good or bad but let it be. However, I believe that I'll return in OB sooner or later, so hold the line and game on!

I'd start with bad news - I didn't managed to fix this bosh'tet alpha on Nouk hair. Good news - only 2 locks give you pain in th neck. All in all 3 new wigs.

Начну с плохого - мне так и не удалось исправить баг с альфой у прически от Nouk. Хорошая новость - "выеживаются" только 2 локона. В целом, 3 парика Вам на растерзание XD

Really? I can't call IT arts coz...lalalala Still, have a look at my hall of shame, if to be more accurate-hall of fame of my hands XD Here we have some quick paintings in SAI: Alana-my dominating char from Oblivion, a Demon Huntress from Diablo III (no headcovers wheee), Castiella even two of them (a fem version of Castiel from Supernatural series) and Balthazara (a fem version of Balthazar from the same series). BECAUSEICAN!
